Privacy policy
Shard Kingdom: Color Defense · Last updated 23 October 2026
No accounts, no sign-in, and your progress stays on your device. To learn what is too hard and to fix crashes, the game sends gameplay statistics and crash reports through Google's Firebase. They are tied to a random ID, not to you, and where the law requires it they are sent only if you consent. See Statistics and crash reports.
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: mostly optional rewarded ads that play only when you choose to watch one (to revive after the wall falls, or to double a level's coins), and one short ad when you open a new world. Google collects some data from your device to show those ads, as described under Ads.
The Shop offers optional purchases through Google Play: packs of crowns and coins, and unique outfits for the Keeper. Google Play handles the payment; we never see your payment details. See Purchases.
Who we are
Shard Kingdom: Color Defense (Android package com.bomerd.conveyorkingdom) is made by Bomerd. You can reach us at bomerrd@gmail.com.
What the game stores on your device
The game saves the following locally, in its private app storage on your device:
- Which levels you have cleared.
- Your coin and crown balances, the levels of your upgrades and abilities, and which abilities you have equipped.
- Your chosen shooter, the Keeper's outfit and the clothes you have unlocked for it (with crowns, or bought in the Shop).
- Which Shop purchases the game has already credited (Google Play's purchase tokens), so that none is credited twice.
- Your settings: whether vibration and smooth motion are on.
- Your best Infinite and Rush runs: their scores, the furthest wave reached and the longest time lasted.
- Whether you have opened the Upgrades, Abilities and Keeper screens since something new became available there, and whether you have seen Infinite and Rush since they opened.
- Your goals: today's quests and how far along they are, your daily login streak, the achievements you have claimed, and running totals of what you have done in the game (such as crystals broken and levels won) that the quests and achievements count.
This never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not included in device backups. Uninstalling the game deletes all of it.
Statistics and crash reports
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, which Google runs for us, to learn how the game is played and to fix what goes wrong. They send:
- How you play, such as when a level or a run starts and ends, whether it was won and how far it got, how long it took, your shots, hits, accuracy and best streak, which gun and abilities you used, your upgrade levels and coins as it starts, the upgrades and abilities you buy, the clothes you buy with crowns, the goals you claim, and the ads you choose to watch.
- Errors and crashes: where in the game's code an error or a crash happened, what the game was doing just before, and basic information about the device, such as its model, Android version, the game's version and free memory.
- What Firebase records on its own: when the game is first opened, how often and how long it is played, and purchases made through Google Play (the product and its price).
- A random ID that Firebase creates for this installation of the game (one for statistics, one for crash reports). It is not your name, email or account, and the game tells Google not to use your advertising ID for statistics.
- Your IP address, from which Google estimates your country and region. Google Analytics does not store it.
We use this only to improve the game: to balance its levels, prices and modes, and to fix crashes and bugs. It is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone else. Google processes it for us under the Firebase terms (and, as our Analytics settings allow, in aggregated form for benchmarking and support). Google keeps detailed statistics for 2 months, the random ID they are tied to until 2 months after the game was last played, and crash reports for 90 days; after that, only totals remain. See Privacy and security in Firebase.
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is sent unless you consent in the consent form the game shows when it first starts (the same form as for ads, below). You can change your choice at any time from Ad privacy in the game's Settings (the gear on the main menu), and the game stops or starts sending at once. Elsewhere, statistics and crash reports are sent while you play.
Ads
The game includes Google's Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Most of its ads are rewarded and optional: one plays only when you tap a button that offers it, such as Revive after the wall falls, x2 on a level's or a goal's reward, or using an ability a second time. The only other ad is a short one that plays when you finish a world for the first time, as the next world opens: five times in the whole game.
To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's SDK collects data from your device and sends it to Google, including:
- Your device's advertising ID.
- Your IP address, from which an approximate location can be estimated.
- Information about your device and the app, such as the device model, Android version and app version.
- How you interact with ads, such as views and taps, and diagnostic data about how the ads perform.
We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you. Google processes it under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are personalized (the same form decides whether statistics and crash reports are sent). If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads. Google's consent tool stores your choice on your device, and you can change it at any time from Ad privacy in the game's Settings (the gear on the main menu).
Your choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's settings (for example Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads).
Purchases
The Shop sells, for real money, packs of crowns and coins and the Keeper's unique outfit sets. Everything in the game can also be earned by playing except the unique sets, which are only sold. Purchases are optional and handled entirely by Google Play, under Google Payments' privacy notice.
We never see your card, billing address or payment details. Google Play tells the game only that a purchase went through, with a purchase token and the product bought; the game credits it and keeps the token on your device so it is never credited twice. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
Your progress, including what you bought, lives only on your device: if you uninstall the game, crowns and coins bought are lost with it, while the unique sets come back with the same Google account: on their own when the game starts, or with Restore purchases in the game's Settings.
What we do not do
- No uploads of your progress. The game uses the internet only to load ads, to talk to Google Play about purchases, and to send the statistics and crash reports described above.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email collection.
- No selling of your data, and no use of the statistics for advertising.
- No access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
The Android permissions the game uses are vibration (short feedback buzzes during play), internet and network state (to load ads), Google's advertising ID permission (used by the ads) and Google Play's billing permission (for purchases). Google's ads library also declares a few it uses on its own: basic phone state (such as the type of mobile network; never your phone number, calls or contacts), and wake lock and foreground service (to finish its work in the background). Firebase adds Google Play's install referrer permission (to tell whether the game was installed from its store page or from a link) and Android's two ad services permissions (Android's Privacy Sandbox for measuring ads, which the game's statistics are set not to use). None of them asks you for anything.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data. Your game data is on your device, and uninstalling the game deletes it. The statistics and crash reports are tied only to a random ID on your device, not to your name or email, so we cannot look them up by who you are; they are deleted on the schedule above, reinstalling the game gives you a new ID, and where consent applies you can withdraw it at any time from Ad privacy in the game's Settings. For the data Google collects to show ads and to process purchases, see Google's privacy policy and the choices under Ads. If you have a question, write to bomerrd@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Shard Kingdom: Color Defense is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases go through Google Play, where a family's purchase settings and parental approvals apply.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top. If a future version of the game changes what data is involved, this policy will be updated before that version reaches you.
